Robert Earl Keen

Before Robert Earl Keen became a Texas country legend, he was a regular act at the Executive Surf Club and worked on the oil rigs of South Texas, inspiring his hit song “Corpus Christi Bay.” To commemorate Robert Earl Keen’s homecoming, Water Street Market honored the Texas legend by renaming the iconic Executive Surf Club’s stage to the Robert Earl Keen Singer-Songwriter Stage just before presenting him with his star on the South Texas Music Walk of Fame.
