The Corpus Christi Gulf Coasters

Being apart of Corpus Christi’s official beach hype squad has its perks. From cruising in the “gulf” cart to sporting the iconic orange fits, the Gulf Coasters are a friendly and bold bunch that require presence at major festivals, the airport, and beaches. To attract more for the spring and summer seasons, Visit Corpus Christi sought them out on TikTok and Instagram.

Curbside Champ

When the pandemic hit, the ramifications on the local business and restaurant community were significant. To help alleviate the loss and closures of downtown businesses, Downtown Corpus Christi created the Curbside Champ campaign, which rewarded locals with a free t-shirt for safely supporting local 5 times during lockdown.

Conscious Coastal Experiences

One of Visit Corpus Christi’s goals is to position the city as a sustainable destination on the coast. In my research, I found that sustainability is omnipresent. Sustainability is the food we eat, gender and racial equity, accessible travel, education, life above + below the water, and so much more. The process of marketing sustainable travel in Corpus Christi resulted in an 8-month-long journey of research, blog writing, UGC curation, and building a landing page of resources.

Typography of Texas

From a very young age, I remember spending a lot of time looking out the window while we drove across miles of Texas to visit family or hit the beach. I saw the beauty in cow-filled fields and sleepy main streets and wondered what life was like in each of these towns.

That curiosity stayed with me as I grew into a designer and content creator, thus Typography of Texas was born. Through this account, I post my Texas adventures, source UGC, and connect with other designers and type lovers in Texas.
